Bowls

Here are photos of some of the bowls we've made.

  First bowl, ambrosia maple, 5" wide
Second bowl, osage orange, 4" wide
Third bowl, chinaberry, 5" wide

First collaborative bowl. 

Alan turned the outside, Lauren turned the inside of this shallow 7" wide ambrosia maple bowl. 

This was rough turned at Bill Grumbine's shop in PA; finish turned at home.

Lauren was the first to notice the Modigliani-ish face that appeared during turning.  The holes in the wood and streaks are artifacts of former ambrosia beetle tracks.
